This Annoys the Crap Outta Me...

What is it that annoys me enough to spend my time to write a whole blog entry about it????

It is how the church (the body of believers) STILL resist the Holy Spirit.  This is a segment from Acts 7 just before the Jews stone Stephen.  This is Stephen speaking to the Sanhedrin (Jewish leaders):

“You stiff-necked people! Your hearts and ears are still uncircumcised. You are just like your ancestors: You always resist the Holy Spirit!  Was there ever a prophet your ancestors did not persecute? They even killed those who predicted the coming of the Righteous One. And now you have betrayed and murdered him— you who have received the law that was given through angels but have not obeyed it.”

God's people ALWAYS hated every prophet that He sent to them.  I could go down the list, but take my word for it....actually.....DON'T take my word for it.  Read it for yourself.  It is the freakin' LIVING WORD OF GOD.  You won't regret it.  Anyway, God's people hated, persecuted, and usually either killed or tried to kill all the prophets of God.

We read about them in the Bible, and we are all pompous and arrogant against them.  We hate on them and think that we would have NEVER rejected the prophets, including the Christ, Jesus, Himself, like the Israelites did.  Can we PLEASE stop lying to ourselves.  We are just as bad if not worse than them....even the Pharisees.

I've talked about this before, but we reject any person who claims to speak the word of God.  We label EVERY anointed warrior of God as a "false prophet" and try to trap them into saying something "un-Biblical" in order to have something to accuse them of.  DO NOT try to pretend that that is not true.  I know for a fact that people search google all the time with searches LOOKING for evidence against preachers, pastors, prophets, and leaders in the church.  They REFUSE to believe that anyone could ACTUALLY be a real prophet.

If you know me, respect me, love me, or look up to me in any way, then get ready for a bombshell.......Are you ready????  Here it goes.....I am a prophet of God.  BOOM!  There you go.  I hope you don't hate me now.  Don't get me wrong, I am nowhere near the caliber of prophet that Samuel, Moses, or Isaiah was.  I hope to be able to prove myself worthy to carry a fraction of the torch that they carried by the end of my life, but there are people alive today that walk in no less power or authority than those men did in their day.  Yet we reject them and INSTANTLY pass them off as being from the devil, or being a false prophet, or being the anti-Christ.  Jesus Himself was accused of being from the devil.

I'm sort of losing myself here, so I just want to bring it back to focus.  Every single generation has always rejected the major prophets of God.  We are no different.  We always love 'em after they are gone, but we hate them while they are here.....JUST LIKE THE ISRAELITES!  They loved the prophets of their fathers, but they hated the prophets amongst them.  It's just a pattern that has always existed.  An example for our time could possibly be Martin Luther King Jr., who undoubtedly carried the spirit of Moses.  During his lifetime, he was hated and rejected by many.  Now, our generation loves him.  We have many MLK's among us today, that we hate and want to trap just like the Pharisees tried to trap Jesus.

A few powerful prophets of our time....T.D.Jakes, Bill Johnson, Jason Westerfield, and Rick Joyner just to name a their names on Google and YouTube and I bet you will find associated with their names titles like "false prophet" or "anti-Christ."  The mere fact that we keep accusing people of being an anti-Christ is the spirit of the anti-Christ at work!!!!!  The spirit of the anti-Christ is at work in those people who are condemning others and accusing them of being anti-Christs.  Do you not get it!??  We are killing ourselves and destroying each other.

One of Satan's title's in the Bible is "The Accuser of the Brethren."  We are doing his work when we accuse our brethren.  Connect the freakin' dots.  EVERYTHING that goes on in this world is a product of one of two things: Satan's Kingdom or God's Kingdom.  Every action, every event is prompted either by God or by Satan.  The accusing of other Christians is the prompting of Satan.

Where in the Bible does it say that we as Christians are supposed to accuse one another of being anti-Christs and false prophets and God-haters and agents of Satan?  You will know a man by his fruit.  You can take that to the bank.

God's chosen vessels may not always fit your style.  Ezekiel did some freakin' WEIRD stuff. Read about it.  John the Baptist also did some freakin' WEIRD stuff.  He lived in isolation his whole life keeping a steady diet of locust and honey and wearing dirty bags as clothes.  Jesus said some freakin' WEIRD stuff too.  For instance, he said, "if any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple." (Luke 14:26). He also said that everyone has to drink his blood and eat his flesh to be saved.  He also said that He didn't come to bring unity but actually He came to bring division.  Yeah.  All of those are true, don't believe me?  Read the Bible.

God isn't an American.  He doesn't follow our customs or traditions.  He does whatever the heck He wants whenever the heck He wants.  His anointed prophets will probably not be what we want or expect.  Often times, they will say things that offend us or seem unorthodox to us.  They are supposed to, that is sort of the point.  If a prophet is speaking "orthodox" things, they are probably not a prophet at all.  God doesn't tell His people to speak things His people already know, He sends them to change the hearts of the people and bring them back to Him.

One more thing....if you're a Christian and you hate on the are an idiot.  You say, "they were God's chosen people and they rejected God Himself when He came to save them!  Also, they are selfish, greedy money-lovers."  I say, "you're stupid and have no idea what you're talking about."  It is not that they WERE God's chosen people, they ARE His chosen people.  Jesus, in regards to His humanity, was Jewish Himself!  The rock on which God built the Christian Church was a Jew.  His name was Peter.  The apostle to the Gentiles, who was hand-selected by God to preach the Gospel to the Gentiles (or everyone in the world who is not a Jew) was a hardcore Jew.  His name was Paul.  In fact, there are only two books in the Bible NOT written by Jews.  Those books were both written by a baller named Luke.  God blesses those who bless His chosen people just as much now as He always has.

Israel is STILL very important.  Therefore, it is no wonder why the world constantly hates them and they are so frequently in the middle of everything.

All glory and all honor be to the God that loves furiously.  I actually have way more to say, but until next time....PEACE!!!!

Don't Hate.....Pray

All the time, whenever pastors get caught in a sex scandal or leaders in the church get caught in some terrible sin or something like that, it's really easy to just jump on the hate train and ride it all the way back to the station.  I mean, they are supposed to be leaders!!!!!  How DARE they mess up!?  I've never done anything stupid before.  I've never lied or covered the truth.  I've never thought about women in a lustful manner.  I've never done ANYTHING to disappoint God's people and more importantly God Himself!

Oh......wait.......I've done all those things and so has everyone else and on a semi-regular basis.  All of us who are pretty much sitting on the sidelines of this monumental spiritual battle of good vs. evil (God vs. Satan) love to hate when one of our higher-ups gets slammed by Satan.  We get mad at THEM, like it is THEIR fault.  We act like we have been praying for their protection (which the Lord Himself calls us to do) on a regular basis and have done our part.  Honestly, how many of you can tell me that you have prayed for your pastor or Bible study leader or favorite Christian celebrity even?  I'll be real with you guys, I pray for the Jonas brothers from time to well as a few other celebrity Christians who are in the lime light.

How many of you know that Satan attacks different people with different levels of intensity?  The luke-warm Christian who doesn't do anything to further the Kingdom of Heaven, Satan doesn't really attack or tempt that hard.  Why?  Because they pose hardly any threat to HIS kingdom....his dark, evil, twisted, perverted, earthly kingdom that is the antithesis to the Kingdom of God.  On the other hand, wouldn't it be smart for Satan to tear down the major leaders of Christianity.....those who have a lot of influence over the church and effect the lives of many?  Of course it would be and that is exactly what he does.

Call me crazy, but I don't think it is just a coincidence that Mel Gibson heads up a movie about Jesus Christ (The Passion of the Christ) and then shortly thereafter goes crazy and loses all credibility in the public eye.  Is it a conspiracy??? No.  Is it Satan throwing seven different kinds of smoke at him to ruin his credibility so that all people think Jesus followers are insane??? Yes.  Yet we totally disregard the possibility of Satan being behind the tearing down of God's kingdom EVEN THOUGH GOD HIMSELF TELLS US THE EXACT OPPOSITE!

"For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in heavenly realms." - Ephesians 6:12

(The battle is not against fellow humans but against demons and satan)

So next time you wanna get mad at someone you look up to for "breaking your trust" or sinning against God or whatever......don't.  ESPECIALLY if you haven't been praying protection over them every single day.  Then, it is just as much your fault as it is theirs.  It is our DUTY to pray for each other, specifically our leaders.  If we don't, not a single one of us can stand against these powers of darkness that are trying SO desperately to destroy us.  If you are a leader yourself, pray for those above you and don't be jealous of their high position.  God would not have put them there if he or she had not earned it in His eyes.  If you aren't a leader and want to be, don't be jealous of those above you either.  Instead, step your game up and stay humble.  "Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart." - Psalm 37:4.  If you desire to lead, then you can lead, but don't be surprised if God makes you prove yourself worthy first.  (See the parable of the talents in the Gospels.)  If you don't want to lead, then don't.   Most people are NOT called to be leaders, but ALL people are called to pray for leaders.

That's all I got, so....until next time....PEACE!
